AIBN (formerly EQ) is a not-for-profit organisations, non-government, independent, membership based organisation, was formed in 2010 registered under the WA Corporations Act 2001. AIBN aligns women to connect and share knowledge, eventually opening opportunities for mentoring. AIBN brings together Australian-Indonesian corporations, businesses, and organizations led by women.

Australian Foreign Minister to visit Indonesia and the United States

Foreign Minister Kevin Rudd will depart today for Indonesia and the United States.

In Jakarta, Mr Rudd will meet with his counterpart, Dr Marty Natalegawa, and other senior figures, to discuss the full breadth of shared political, security, commercial, environmental, and cultural interests.

“I look forward to discussing the East Asia Summit and ASEAN agendas for the year ahead, with a particular focus on practical ways to take forward EAS priorities, such as co-ordinated regional responses to natural disasters.”

Australia partners with Femina to support women entrepreneurs
 
Winners of the female entrepreneurial awards were announced today from a strong field of almost 400 applicants.

This annual competition, sponsored by Australia, is hosted by Indonesia’s leading women’s magazine Femina.

Rakhma Sinseria from Surabaya took out first place for her small coffee shop business, Coffee Toffee. A business she successfully expanded to almost 100 locations within a two-year period.
